Ruby Novella (Greene) Christenbury

Ruby Novella Greene Christenbury, age 81, of Millers Creek, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at Meadow Lakes Memory Care Facility in Statesville. Mrs. Christenbury was born February 15, 1943, in Wilkes County to Gurney Norman & Dollie Beatrice Church Greene. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Neal Watts Christenbury, brothers; Gaires Johnson Greene, John Riley Greene, Sr., sisters; Rita Ann Greene Martin, Jeanetta Marie Greene Pilkenton, Nettie V Greene Brooks, and Dollie Genevieve Greene Pilkington.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at Miller Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Devin Marlow officiating. Burial will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Christenbury will lie-in-state at Miller Funeral Service from 10:00 until 11:00 on Thursday prior to the service.
