Mildred A (Richardson) Laws

Mrs. Mildred Richardson Laws, age 83 of Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake-Forest Baptist in Winston Salem. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Moravian Falls Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Sturgill officiating.  Entombment will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church. 

Mildred was born February 7, 1941, in Ashe County to Paul and Georgia Roten Richardson.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Mack Lee Laws, two sisters; Mozelle Morgan, Maxine Campbell, two brothers; Clifford Richardson, and Johnny Richardson. 

She is survived by her daughter; Vicky and fiancé` Dave Dillard of Wilkesboro, four sisters; Margie Jones (Ken) of Maiden, Myrtle Rapp (John) of Greensboro, Minnie Wilcox (Jim) of Wilkesboro, Faye Parsons (Dale) of Millers Creek, three brothers; Joe Richardson (Brenda) of North Wilkesboro, Jimmy Richardson of Wilkesboro, Jerry Richardson (Robin) of Pittsboro, sister-in-law; Lynette Richardson of Wilkesboro, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moravian Falls Baptist Church, P.O. Box 188, Moravian Falls, NC  28654.
