Lynn Lovette Sazama passed away peacefully in her hometown of Wilkesboro, NC on Saturday, September 21st, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father, John Maurice “Pete” Lovette, and survived by her mother, Wilma Caroline Everhart Lovette, brother, Mark Lovette (wife Lynn), former husband, Shawn Sazama, daughter, Laura Sazama Stringfellow (husband Spencer), son, Patrick Sazama, daughter, Jane Bell, granddaughter, Kenan Davenport, nephew, John Lovette (wife Nancy Lauer and daughter Josie), nephew, Charlie Lovette (wife Melanie), and many family members and friends who loved her.
Lynn grew up in the golden years of Holly Farms in Wilkes County, where she enjoyed spending time with her beloved friends and family. Lynn did not know a stranger and befriended all who she met.
Graduate of UNC-Greensboro, Lynn worked as a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 41 years. She was truly a compassionate nurse who touched the lives of all who she encountered. She gained so much happiness out of helping others and helping them find the best versions of themselves.
A devoted daughter, sister, mother, cousin, spouse, and friend, Lynn loved and was loved by so many amazing people, and her legacy will live on in all who were a part of her life. She was one of a kind… she had a smile and personality that would light up any room that she entered.
A formal service will be held at Wilkesboro Baptist Church on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, at 1pm with an Inurnment service following at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Dr. Chris Hefner and Rev. Alfred E. Andrews officiating. All are welcome to attend both services. The family will receive following the service at Scenic Memorial Gardens.
