Lisa Lynn (Collins) Clanton

Lisa Lynn Collins Clanton, age 50, of Wilkesboro, passed away, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home. She was born October 11, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland to Robert Wayne and Linda Jean Handy Collins. She was a long-time employee with the Brushy Mountain Smokehouse. Lisa loved to take care of Jax and Lobo, who were her grand-dogs, and any other animals. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. The most important thing was spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, several aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish her memories are her spouse, Chris Clanton; daughters, Kayla Breden and spouse Warren of Wilkesboro, Kristen Clanton and fiancé, Dylan Kanupp of North Wilkesboro; son, Dylan Clanton and fiancé, Nadia Barker of Wilkesboro; sister, Kimberly Collins of Wilkesboro; grandson, John Luke Kanupp of North Wilkesboro, grandchild on the way; and mother-in-law, Fran Clanton of Millers Creek.

Funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Miller Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kevin Souther officiating. Burial will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 Saturday evening. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
