Linda Carol (Phillips) Blackburn

Mrs. Linda Carol Phillips Blackburn, age 75 of North Wilkesboro passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Wilkes Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Evan Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.  Entombment will be at Scenic Memorial Gardens.

She was born on December 28, 1948, in Caldwell County to Robert Lee and Margaret Elizabeth Gervais Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Eldridge Blackburn.

She is survived by daughter, Denise Gentry and husband Dean of North Wilkesboro; son, Shawn Staley and wife Kim of Millers Creek; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Gentry Reid (Casey), Sterling Gentry (Mackenzie); one great grandchild, Grace Reid; one sister, Brenda Ann Phillips McCray and husband Allen of Conover; one step-son Doug Blackburn and wife Betsy of Lewisville;  three step grandchildren, Jason Blackburn (Christine), Catherine Blackburn, Kellie Blackburn Gibson (Marc); and two step great grandchildren, Cecelia Blackburn and Doris Blackburn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC  27030.
