Kaitlin Elizabeth Morehead

Kaitlin Elizabeth Morehead, 28, of Surfside Beach, SC, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024. She was born July 21, 1995, in Georgetown, SC.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Votor of North Wilkesboro, NC; brother, Aidan Tharington; fiancé, Westley Navarro of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

She is preceded in death by grandparents, Camille Votor, and Errol Votor; and uncle, Michael Votor. 

Kait lived a life full of love, compassion and dedication to others. She enjoyed poetry, art, fashion, attending concerts and traveling. After graduating from St. James High School in 2013 she earned her BS Degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University. Kait has always been a free spirit and now she is dancing with the angels. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Scenic Memorial Gardens, 545 Moravian Falls Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
