Mrs. Ina Mae Jones Reins, age 86 of Wilkesboro, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Oakwoods Baptist Church with Rev. Christopher Clark and Rev. Ronnie Millsaps officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
She was born on February 15, 1939, in Wilkes County to Thurman “Jerry” and Mae Rachel Welborn Jones. She was a dedicated member of Oakwoods Baptist Church as well as a loved Sunday School teacher for many years. She retired from the Wilkes County School system after 30 plus years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Rogers and a brother, Glen Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Vance “JV” Reins Jr. of the home; son, Jesse Vance “Jay” Reins III and wife Cindy of Wilkesboro; granddaughter, Jessica Reins Walker and husband Jesse of Boonville; two great-grandchildren, Jessa Lee Walker and Jenna Claire Walker; two sisters, Jo Ann Myers (Ira) of Wilkesboro, Mary Jones of Wilkesboro; one brother, Mack Jones (Debbie) of Whiteville, NC; brother-in-law, Clyde Rogers of Moravian Falls and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Oakwoods Baptist Church Missions Fund, 2385 Brushy Mountain Road, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
