Glenda Gryder Brown

Mrs. Glenda Gryder Brown, age 75 of North Wilkesboro passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 at Wilkes Health & Rehabilitation Center. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2024, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Eddie Tharpe officiating.  Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Glenda was born April 5, 1949, in Wilkes County to Wilson Columbus and Nannie Rebecca Blackburn Gryder.  Glenda loved reading, crocheting and cooking for her family.   She retired from Tyson Foods. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Mary Gryder Porter.  

She is survived by two daughters; Lee Ann Triplett and husband Russell, Ava Brown and partner Michael Yates all of North Wilkesboro, grandchildren; Crystel and husband David Milligan, Kayla Wheeler all of North Wilkesboro, great grandchildren; Kamea Milligan, Harmonee Milligan, Dagan Milligan, Nashun Wheeler, Kaydence Wheeler, two sisters; Madge  Gryder and partner Steve of North Wilkesboro, Martha Gonzalez of North Wilkesboro and a brother; Willard Gryder of Hays. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Wilkes, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
