Dana Parker Obituary

Mr. Dana “Sony” Parker, age 92 of Wilkesboro passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2024, at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Knox officiating.

Sony was born in Surry County on September 3, 1931. He was a member of New Damascus Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Frances Barber Parker.

He is survived by five daughters; Joann Parks and husband Cregg of Moravian Falls, Sandra Parker-Keck of Raleigh, Andrea Wilson of Wilkesboro, Linda Thomas of Asheboro, Denise Parker of Charlotte, a son; Eric Parker and wife Paulette of Pageland, SC, nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted.
